  • I do the same thing, leave it all out then slowly watch it disappear.

Do you have the crimping tools yet?

    • Surgery went good, one spot I am sure will have a scar but don’t chicks dig scars? It will be close to the outer coil so no worries there.

I NEVER have been a fan of head tattoos but I have two small ones in talks with a tattoo guy in Calgary, will be seeing him next month when I am to get a follow up appointment by the surgeon. These tattoos will signify that I am completely deaf if the outer portions go missing during an incident.

First week I was babysat by the better half so no strenuous work, second week I took it easy and did some upgrades around the house.

then last week I decided to tackle the biggest thing on the table and that was to be the Center console to be buttoned up. Which meant bracketry of the triple stick to be put in. Original thoughts were to make a removable trans tunnel but I no longer want to hack this body up. Next winter I want to get the interior stripped of the Herculiner and just run paint.

now to get the cable shifter stuff in with out Cutting floor out meant the doubler and 205 needed to be dropped. Thus meaning frame notch needed to be opened up and a lot of swearing, brackets all installed but one cable end was not right for the 205. Got the machinist from work to pop over for a BS (Beer Session)meeting to get him to whip out a proper replacement as well part off sone pipes for me to fabricate a lifting cradle for the doubler/205 as I want to clock it up a bit for skid plate install.

      • Ain’t been posting much here or on Facebook. Not worried about the millwright crew at work but them gossipy pipe fitters.

tcase linkage bracketry is all on, cables later. Had to wait 3 weeks for a welder by trade to come over and weld up my frame. Then got th3 Tcase and doubler back in. Picked up one last brake line to rebend over the doubler etc to the rear upper links.

when I had time with no family around, I been out fabricating an overbuilt skid plate.

1/4” plate with 1/2” plate at the crossmembers. Still need to hardpack under the frame so I really can come down on a log or something…

also need to weld in a plated section for under the aluminum transmission pan up to the Bellhousing.

        flat belly achieved,
